Marco Randazzo
Gloucester, MA
A crucifix like this one hangs from the rearview mirror of Marco Randazzo's pick-up truck. It attests to Marco's dexterity in tying nautical knots - a skill he honed during twenty years of fishing on a dragger out of Gloucester. Marco recently retired from fishing, but evidence of his life's work fills the home he shares with his family. Many of his sculptural objects made of rope are inspired by his occupation and spiritual faith.
